House & Hosts
The House was bought by the Shepherd family in
the year of the Dragon. This year promotes generosity, romance and irresistible charm; we
believe the house lives up to this reputation.
As the family has travelled extensively to the
Far East and Europe, where they escorted luxury tours, the house is full of interest.
Standing in a tree lines street this charming,
newly decorated Victorian house is a welcome home and has been honoured by the Tourist
Council with four diamonds.
Bedrooms
The three bedrooms are bright and spacious with fresh fruit and flowers, books and
magazines besides remote control television, tea and coffee trays with home-made biscuits,
bath robes and luxury toiletries.No room is en
suite but the two well appointed bathrooms are opposite. Hair dryers, European plugs,
laundry and newspapers are available on request. |
Meals
Meals are served in the Aga warmed dining room. Breakfast is a selection of breads,
cereals, jams, cheese, meat, fish, eggs, yoghurt and fruit. This is included in the room
rate.Dinner is a three course meal including
mineral water and wine for £15 per person.
Children are welcome but are treated as adults. |
Relaxation
The sitting room has a log fire, library and piano. The French windows open out
onto our mature garden which leads to several acres of parkland and sunken lavender
gardens.Animals are very welcome but please
mention them on booking so that we can ascertain compatibility with our own. Dog meals,
beds, bowls, towel and walks can be provided. A dog sitting service is also available
should you wish to go out in the evening. |
